General Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Superclean have any substances harmful to aquatic life?
Although Superclean is biodegradable and not harmful to people or animals if it is directly sprayed into e.g. fish tanks or ponds where there are fish residing, it may be harmful to the aquatic life. It can however be used to clean aquariums and ponds whilst empty, providing they are rinsed thoroughly with clean water, prior to the re-introduction of the fish. When used for cleaning sinks, toilets etc. that involves rinsing with water that goes down the drains. Here it will be diluted greatly with the rinsing water and water in the drainage systems, so will not be harmful to any aquatic life when it eventually reaches it.

Bottle & Trigger Care
Reusing is better for the environment; however, the bottles may outlast the trigger sprays, which both have a limited lifespan, but you can purchase replacement heads or empty bottles on our accessories page. If you use Dew for anything other than domestic use, we do advise upgrading your trigger heads to the commercial trigger sprays.
Air Atomiser Tips
Try not to let the liquid run out as this can create an air lock, resulting in the trigger not working. If this happens, please refill the bottle and pump continuously for a few minutes (this can take up to 5 minutes). If the spray still doesn’t work, please wait 24 hours, and retry. Our packaging impact
We thought long and hard about our packaging, our 5L refills are made from 100% recycled / reclaimed rigid plastic.
This is our logic: Has a lower carbon footprint than glass and metal packaging Can be recycled and where possible we use reclaimed plastics.
We never use flexible plastic, it is rarely recycled and poses the most risk to marine life We never use containers which hide flexible plastic liners inside such as aluminium bottles, tin cans & card board boxes
